In "Quell'africana not even speak Italian well" I described some places where the migrants live in conditions nothing short of disastrous.
In these days published two important reports that document the situations narrated nell'Africana.
The first report was prepared by the IOM (International Organization for Migration) and documenting the situation of immigrants in Castel Volturno.

In "Quell'africana .." Chapter 34 "A Castelvolturno through Pompeii really talk about these places and of Nigerians who live there.
The other report is maintained by Doctors Without Borders and the issue of conditions of violence and exploitation to which African women have been subjected while passing through Morocco to Europe.
Africana Chapter 39 "A Fantastic Voyage" described the camp Maghnia, where Johnny and other migrants had lived in expectation of being able to cross the border into Morocco.
