Christmas with your family, Easter with whomever you want ...
But is that really so?
Maybe I'm too tied to traditions of the past, but I love to spend the holidays with my family, with people dearest to me.
Before my parents split up at Christmas and Easter in our house was like a wedding, friends and especially relatives gathered around a table (usually to our house, given the special guest of my father, from whom I inherited too). People who perhaps until the day before had not even greeted crossing the street, he found himself conversing animatedly elbow to elbow between a plate of lasagna and a traditional roast lamb ...
Perhaps linked to these memories, now I plan not ever leave or holiday travel days, although the long tables have become more intimate, one of the few family members which they are linked.
And I think it's just so ... no Easter what you want. There is the rest of the year to spend it with whoever you want. I think at least it is right to pass the holidays with the ones we have been close throughout his life, where people often forget the importance that is often sacrificed for the benefit of friends, many times, does not prove as generous to us ...
So, tomorrow morning, go to church. Spend the day with your family, your parents, with those you hold most dear!
Happy Easter!
